Therapy Services
 At
NMMC-Therapy Services, we take a progressive approach
to the rehabilitation of injuries. The teamwork
of the physician, therapist and the patient is vital
to a successful rehabilitation program. Our goal
is to restore function and allow the patient to
return to normal activity as soon as possible.
The Rehabilitation Department consists
of 7 licensed Physical Therapists, 7 licensed Occupational
Therapists, 1 Speech and Language Pathologist, and 4 other support staff.
Having this many staff members allows you to get
the one-on-one care that you deserve as quickly
as you need it. We offer a wide variety of services
in various settings including:
- Outpatient: pediatrics to geriatrics
- Skilled therapy services
- Home care
- Inpatient services
- Contracted services to our area
nursing homes and schools.
- Endless pool (aquatic therapy and rehabilitation)
The outpatient services are offered at 104 Main
Street in Fort Kent and at the Madawaska Outpatient
Center.
