Fort Kent ~ Jeffrey Frost, 72 year old resident of Forest Hill Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center, was a 2015 nominee to the Maine Health Care Association’s (MCHA) Remember ME program. Mr. Frost and his family received notification on April 17, 2015, that he had been selected to receive Honorable Mention from the MHCA.
The Remember ME program is one of MHCA’s most popular programs. The annual event features black and white photographs, accompanied by brief biographies of pioneering, innovative and interesting residents living in Maine long term care facilities.
Jeffrey Sixmith Frost was born in 1943, in Caribou, Maine, to Elizabeth Ann Sixmith Frost and Royal Henry (R.H.) Frost. Both of Frost’s parents were graduates of Penn State University, where they met. While his father was in the US Navy, Frost developed a special bond with his grandfather and they shared a love for trains which he has carried throughout his lifetime. When his father got out of the navy, they returned to Caribou, Maine, where Jeffrey grew up with two siblings. After graduating from the University of Maine, at Orono, Frost eventually took over the family business, the R.H. Frost Insurance Company. Now a resident at Forest Hill, Frost enjoys his time being around people.
Forest Hill held a celebration to honor Frost for his award.
