A gynecologist is a physician who specializes in the care of women during pregnancy and childbirth and in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive organs. Gynecology also specializes in other women’s health issues, such as menopause, hormone replacement, contraception and infertility.
Through a partnership with Northern Light AR Gould Hospital, we are pleased to offer gynecology services to our patients in the St. John Valley. Patients may be seen by Dr. Joyce Hebert through a referral from primary care providers.
Dr. Hebert completed her residency in the year 2000 and she is Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fluent in French and a native to the St. John Valley, she has returned to Northern Maine Medical Center where she accepts new patients and performs surgical procedures twice a month.
