Our full orthopedic service provides general orthopedic services as well as knee and hip replacement, sports medicine and the management of fractures.
Dr. John Hallberg completed medical school at Tulane University. He completed a surgery internship at Lenox Hospital in New York and went on to complete an orthopedic residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He is a member of the American Medical Association and has been performing orthopedic surgery for 29 years.
He enjoys performing the whole spectrum of orthopedic surgery, from carpal tunnel release to ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. Dr. Hallberg says, “I get satisfaction from seeing my patients get better no matter what the treatment or procedure.” He finds it gratifying to treat patients with acute injuries and to see them recover to their baseline. On the other hand, when orthopedic interventions make a difference in the quality of life of patients dealing with chronic conditions such as arthritis, it is equally gratifying.
